Sr. SharePoint Developer

Position Description:
Design, customize and debut customer workflows (automate business processes), websites, web parts, form and list/library, and other custom applications and/or tools using various programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft .net, HTML etc.). Update metadata terms systematically, as required. Create forms to capture and store information in an effective, efficient, and economical manner in accordance with published regulations and guidance. Ensures software standards are met. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Perform SharePoint customization, integration, and upgrades into the engineering, test, and production environments in accordance with Configuration Management, Change Management and Security policies and processes. Make recommendations and perform installations of new major releases, product updates, hot fixes and service packs. Install and test recommendations as required. Customize and implement tools and capabilities to include Dashboards, Web sites, Employee Library, and Reports for SharePoint. Maintain Managed File Shares (MFS) in accordance with approved SOPs. Add users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions. Provide technical support to Peraton team and customer SharePoint users. Perform data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
Required Skills:
- Full time work in a SCIF is required, but hours are flexible.
- Requires Bachelor's degree in field of study applicable to the position, with 10 or more years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- TS/SCI and active (<= 6 years) polygraph.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years in a SharePoint developer role.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of SharePoint Server engineering experience.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years of client interaction and working independently as a thought leader.
- Proven experience with workflow design, web site design, web part design, list/library engineering and debugging using various programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft .net, HTML).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Desired Skills:
- Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active.
- Team lead experience.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or other field applicable to the position required.
- 10 or more years of relevant experience required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
