We are looking for a Software Tester - Android who will be responsible for creating and coordinating the project's schedule and creating a test plan as well as reporting to HQ or the internal team of the risk points before milestones.

Working independently, translation of complex functional & technical requirements, maintaining upcoming technical knowledge, and diagnosing protocol/system issues is required. To be successful in this role, you must show all the above abilities and constantly strive to be better by self-development and communication.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Analyze the testing results and submit the report to the development team.
  • Create test designs, processes, cases, and test-product documentation.
  • Conduct testing as per the set standards and procedures.
  • Ensure that the testing is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
  • Perform software testing in all phases of the design-develop-test-release-maintain software life cycle.

Required Experience and Education:

  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Android and Mobile Testing experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the contract employee is occasionally required to stand, clean, crawl, kneel, sit, sort, hold, squat, stoop, stand, twist the body, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders and scaffolding, talk or hear, and lift up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include the ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time-sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
