Project or Senior Engineer— Hydraulics/Road Design

Sanderson Stewart, a Sanderson Bellecci company, is seeking a Project or Senior Engineer – Hydraulics/Road Design to join our team of professionals. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Hydrologic analysis
2. Irrigation ditch, pipe, and structure design
3. Prepare reports (hydraulics and various DOT milestone report submittals)
4. Prepare project proposals and scoping
5. Manage hydraulics for DOT Group including:
1. Review and QA/QC
2. General oversight of DOT Group hydraulic efforts
3. Manage hydraulics budgets
4. Mentoring/training junior staff in hydraulic analysis and design
6. Interact with MDT Hydraulics staff and maintain client relationships

Required Qualifications (Skills/Experience/Certifications):

1. B.S. in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or a related degree
2. PE Certification
3. 6+ years of hydraulic/water resources and road design experience

Preferred Qualifications (Skills/Experience/Certifications):

1. Proficiency with HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HY-8, AutoDesk’s Storm and Sanitary Analysis or similar storm drain modeling program preferred
