This role allows you to work from the greater Seattle area and is currently remote.
Your role and impact
As a Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer at 98point6, you'll have the opportunity to work with a small team that is building our brand new platform for digital care. We're looking for a generalist software engineer to help us define and develop our future.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the rest of the team to design and implement our backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
- Work inside our monorepo with a frontend/backend stack that includes React, Typescript, tRPC, Temporal and Postgres.
- Independently clarify technical requirements, assess development estimates and apply a broad range of design approaches.
- Develop and improve team best practices for coding and design.
- Manage a production application that patients, doctors and clinical staff depend upon.
- Participate in 24/7 on call responsibilities on a rotational basis.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing and coding back-end services using Node.js or Python for production commercial services that operate on the public internet.
- 5+ years of experience designing and coding browser-based applications using TypeScript, HTML5 and at least 1 Javascript application framework.
- A high level of ownership, flexibility and self-direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating with common healthcare system and standards.
- Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR.

The salary range for incoming hires for this position is $135,000-197,000. At 98point6, compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience and scope of responsibility. Our team will help you understand how your direct experience will be considered.
