Jr. SQL/Tableau Developer

Position Description

CGI has an immediate need for an Jr. SQL/Tableau Developer to join our financial services team with preferred locations of Reston, VA, Plano, TX, or Lafayette, LA. This position can be located anywhere in the U.S. where CGI has an office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a virtual team.
2. Ability to manage to strict deadlines as well as prioritize and perform tasks in a high-pressure environment.
3. Strong in multitasking, completing sprint goals and managing changing priorities.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

1. 2-3 years of relevant experience.
2. Proficiency in SQL query and coding.
3. Experiences in Tableau development or administration.
4. Excellent written communication skills.
5. Skilled in documentation and reporting for the purposes of system analysis, business requirement, testing, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as MSOffice and SQL.
6. Skilled in system analysis and software testing by leveraging SQL, JIRA, or other tools.
7. Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
8. Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions.

Educational Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Engineering with related experiences.

Compensation

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59,700.00 - $146,900.00.
