The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Motion Designer with a background in marketing or ad agencies to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in motion design, graphic design, and video editing. They should be comfortable taking briefs, leading projects from start to finish, and adhering to brand guidelines. Excellent communication skills are essential as this role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, so the ability to communicate effectively is very important.

The ideal candidate has prior game dev experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. Responsibilities

• Translate creative briefs into compelling motion design and video editing solutions.
• Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project objectives and provide regular updates on progress.
• Communicate both visually and verbally conceptual ideas, detailed production, and art direction rationale.
• Develop storyboards and conceptualize ideas to communicate brand messages effectively.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure all visual assets are consistent with the brand's aesthetic.
• Produce graphic design for online and printed assets, making use of existing style guides and branding.
• Good understanding of image composition (photography background desirable).
• Pitch creative ideas to engage users and maintain interest in our products, keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments.
• Create packaging and manuals (digital/non-digital) for products to print/web-ready specifications.
• Take in-game screenshots for use across all art assets.
• Manage multiple complex projects.
• Continuously explore new trends and techniques in motion design, graphic design, and video editing to enhance creative output.
• Collaborate with other creative team members to brainstorm ideas and provide feedback on projects.
• Maintain organized project files and assets for future reference and collaboration.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Film Production, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in motion design, graphic design, and video editing.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and composition.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
• Experience working in a marketing or ad agency environment is highly desirable.
• Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator.
