As a Water / Wastewater Project Manager, you will be part of a leadership team dedicated to providing world class service to our clients by leading the day-to-day management of the project.We are an electrical contractor looking for an experienced Project Manager with experience managing electrical installation projects with controls and instrumentation experience in the Water/Wastewater industry. This role will lead the coordination of all project requirements included but not limited to scope, schedule, procurement, budget, client relations, project management, and contract administration.ResponsibilitiesSupervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, schedule, and close outHave thorough knowledge of all major project issues and priorities; prepare and submit monthly job status reportsHave thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involvedSecure all required permits and verify insurance coverage for subsSchedule and facilitate all project meetings required to successfully coordinate work activitySupervise and manage project team members; set goals and evaluate performance for team membersTrain and develop direct reports utilizing on the job and internal and external training or development opportunitiesProvide general administrative and technical leadership for the projectMaintain all project records and monitor correspondenceDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner and engineering firmsParticipate in proposals and presentations as requestedBasic Qualifications8+ years construction experience requiredUndergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management preferred, or similar qualifying experienceProject management and installation experience in the water/ wastewater industryExperience managing projects successfully from start to finishSkilled at negotiating and developing relationships with owners and subcontractorsDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach and evaluate a team; minimum 4 years supervisory experienceKnowledge of industry, state, and local code requirements.Ability to read and interpret all contract drawings such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security and Architectural.Experience with water/wastewater construction and installation projectsGood understanding of Controls, P&ID Drawings and SCADA systemsPreferred QualificationsGraduate degree in engineering or business a plusWorking for an electrical contractor on large scale constructionDBIA and LEED AccreditationMass transit and rail, highway, aviation, or other infrastructure project experienceC3M Power SystemsFull-service electrical contractor with the experience and capabilities to construct, rehabilitate, and maintain electrical and special systems for railways, airports, highways and utilities nationwide.
