Engineer II, Machine Learning (mult.)

Position Summary

Design, iterate and fine-tune machine learning models with various computing resource constraints for deployment.

Role And Responsibilities

1. Design, iterate and fine-tune machine learning models with various computing resource constraints for deployment.
2. Optimize the existing machine learning model architectures and algorithm implementations.
3. Explore cutting-edge technologies and create quick prototypes.
4. Design experiments, perform evaluations, and apply enhancements to products.
5. Experiment with scalable machine learning architectures and platforms tailored to the environment and create quick prototypes/proof-of-concepts.
6. Develop highly scalable machine learning pipelines and tools to support the development and deployment of machine learning products.
7. Optimize the existing machine learning pipelines/platforms/architectures to meet real-world latency constraints.
8. Research the state-of-the-art technology stack for machine learning applications.
9. Develop and test data pipelines and services to support products.
10. Research state-of-the-art data management techniques and tools and identify the optimal fit to improve the overall performance of systems.
11. Improve and maintain current pipelines and services in production.
12. Design and perform complex analysis to determine resolutions that clarify and address operational and business concerns.
13. Lead efforts related to the machine learning infrastructure/platform and collaborate with other internal and external collaborators.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience as an Engineer II, Machine Learning or related occupation in machine learning algorithm engineering.

Of the 2 years of experience must include:

1. Designing and implementing machine learning platforms, models, and algorithms;
2. Experience with deep learning frameworks, including TensorFlow and PyTorch;
3. Utilizing programming languages, including Java, Python, and Scala;
4. Experience with ETL and big data tools, including Hadoop, Spark, Flink, and Kafka;
5. Experience with Amazon Web Services;
6. Experience with data structures and algorithms, data mining, and system design for machine learning;
7. Experience with SQL and database systems, including PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

Salary Range : $232,690/year
