Civil Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects and clients.
• Design water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling for water resources, delivery systems, treatment, and collection systems.
• Prepare hydraulic calculations and reports.
• Perform site visits and coordinate with clients and staff.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates.
• Develop technical studies and reports.
• Perform technical research on product information, design codes, and regulatory standards.
• Analyze water resources management strategies.
• Provide program and construction management support.
• Review and develop environmental compliance and permitting strategies.
• Engage in business management activities.
• Support staff development and strategic growth.

Under the mentorship of Principal and Senior Engineers, you will gain valuable experience on various projects and advance your career to a senior level. You will build relationships with clients, collaborate with team members across California, participate in professional societies such as ASCE, and achieve significant professional and personal development.

Requirements & Experience:

• B.S. in Civil, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering (M.S. preferred but not required).
• Minimum of three years’ experience.
• Engineering-in-training certification and P.E. registration in California.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Experience with AutoCAD and engineering software such as InfoWorks, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, BioWIN, and other modeling programs.
