We're looking for students to join our Cooperative Education Program who are obsessively curious about 'what's next'. You'll get hands on experience with our products and learn from the best of the best in the business. You will complete a specific project in 6 months with us, while integrating into your team. By the time you end your time with us, you will have been given the opportunity to truly make a real impact in the future of Bose and your career!

Timeframe – January – July 2025
THE ROLE
We are looking for an audio/acoustics engineering coop to upgrade our acoustic measurement system and prototype measurement processes. This work is an intersection of process improvement, technical direction and new measurement capabilities. It will include acoustic measurements and hands-on experiments. Coops will receive guidance from experts in acoustics, validation and process.
Responsibilities
- Develop process for measurement system validation
- Design experiments to validate measurement system and compare protype results to models.
- Take acoustic measurements to validate prototypes.
- Develop processes for prototype validation.
- Collaborate with technicians, acousticians, and ANC experts to gather ideas and get feedback on work.
Minimum Qualification
- Currently is in the process of obtaining bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Proficient in MATLAB.
- Basic understanding of acoustics, audio and EE fundamentals.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with process improvement programs.
- Experience with acoustic measurements.
- Experience with Audio Precision
