Job Description

Role: Sr. Applications Developer - Java

Duration: 5 Months

Rate: $50/hr On C2C (Max)

Interview Mode: F2F required

Required Skills:

1. Experience with integration frameworks and patterns, primarily Mule experience. If candidates do not have Mule, Apache Camel is preferred.
2. 7+ years of Java required.
3. Understanding of architectural concepts is required.
4. Excellent communication and ability to work with others is imperative.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Ideally looking for candidates who do not require sponsorship so they can be converted to perm employees at the end of the contract if that is something both the contractor and ADP want to do.
2. We can work with non-local candidates but they MUST do an in-person interview.

Responsibilities:

This position's primary objective will be to design and develop application solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Design Application Integrations to connect IT systems inside the company and with the IT systems of external partners, applying Enterprise Application Integration technologies and methodologies to include Publish and Subscribe model, SOA, and Managed File Transfer. Develop specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings. Assist with the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Assist in the planning and design coordination of new systems to maximize reuse of applications/components, application patterns, and adherence to technology standards. Provide mentoring and technical oversight to other team members.

Qualifications Required:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or computer science.
2. 6+ years development experience.
3. Exposure experience in Enterprise Integration Patterns.
4. Exposure experience in Cloud computing, Event based systems, and ERP/CRM system integrations.
5. Experience developing within large scale applications and processes.
6. Knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies.
7. Knowledge of non-functional requirements - Security, Scalability, Maintainability, etc.
8. Experience with Workday, Oracle Cloud, SAP, PeopleSoft - a plus.
9. Experience in the following technologies: Integration frameworks and patterns, such as Spring Integration, Apache Camel, Mule; Technologies that enable rapid building of production ready application, such as Spring Framework, Hibernate; OOP/D (Java required); BPM, MQ, ESB; Build/Release - Maven / Grunt or Gulp/ Git / SVN; Database (RDBMS and NoSQL) - Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.; SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and tooling - REST API, Event/Messaging systems, etc.; CI - Jenkins.
10. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
11. Ability to develop longer-range project plans and schedules to complete complex projects or new product development.
12. Proven track record as application developer.
13. Successful in a multi-site global development environment.

2. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
3. Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
