McElroy's CNC machinists work at our climate-controlled Admiral Facility, where components for our fusion and fintube machines are produced. In addition to great pay, a full stack of benefits and a sign on bonus, McElroy Machinists receive paid on the job training. Machinists will place and secure parts, fixtures and tools onto machines. Using the tools of the trade, our machinists are expected to use micrometers, calipers and other tools and gauges to read, interpret and act on requirements and specifications on blueprints for a variety of parts. We need machinists with proven experience and success troubleshooting and resolving operation or programming problems.
Job Requirements
Generally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines and checking procedures.
Job requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 70 pounds. Lifting devices should be used when possible. Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
