Manufacturing Engineer
The manufacturing engineer will work closely with the production floor to provide effective and efficient manufacturing instructions for both new and legacy industrial equipment. Additionally, the manufacturing engineer will evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Responsibilities:

• Support projects through their entire production lifecycle, including reviewing product designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Create drawings of parts/assemblies in SolidWorks from legacy and handwritten drawings.
• Act as a liaison between manufacturing and design engineering, project management, and other internal groups to support production.
• Create manufacturing routes and release production in an ERP system.
• Analyze and improve current production processes throughout the facility to increase manufacturing capacity, capabilities, throughput, and cost reductions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in a production environment preferred.
• Previous experience with industrial machining and fabrication is preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or a similar 3D CAD design software required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Experience in project management and production outsourcing is a plus.
