What does the job involve?The CNC Lathe Machinist will setup and operate CNC lathe according to work order and blueprint specifications, using necessary fixtures and tooling.What will my responsibilities include?•Reading the work order data and operating the CNC lathe accordingly•Inspect parts per print specifications and inspection intervals determined by the Quality Department•Ensure accurate part counts during machining•Follow standard work processes and carry out responsibilities in a safe mannerWhat key skills and experience do I need?•Highly motivated•Quality minded•Basic math ability•Basic measuring ability using calipers and micrometers•Good Attendance•Ability to work standing and/or sitting•Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 50 poundsWhat qualifications should I have?•CNC lathe operation with 2-3 years machining experience required. Must have ability to readand interpret product drawings.
