Job Requirements / Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for robotics and semiconductor products.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless transfer of new products into full-scale manufacturing.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement automation and process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high product quality.
  • Oversee process validation, including the creation of SOPs, work instructions, and quality controls.
  • Manage production line layout, equipment selection, and tooling to optimize throughput and product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and production staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within robotics or semiconductor industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation systems, and equipment used in robotics and semiconductor production.
  • Strong background in process optimization, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience with CAD tools, automation systems, and process simulation software.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with regulatory and quality standards relevant to the semiconductor or robotics industry (e.g., ISO, CE, UL).
