Family owned and growing steel service center in Meriden is looking for the right experienced candidate to join our team. We are looking to fill an immediate opening to operate press brake. Compensation will be based on experience.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Proper fulfillment of work orders -Loading/unloading material via forklift -Maintain clean work area -Use of hand/power tools as needed -Be mindful and work in a safe fashion -Must be able to work in a fast paced environment -Support and assist in other duties around the shop as they ariseCandidate requirements: -Must be able to read a Tape measure -Must speak and read english -Must be at least 18 years of age -Good work ethic and attitude -Experienced CNC press brake -Ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings -Basic and shop math knowledge -Ability to properly read and use measuring tools as required -Forklift certification preferred -Ability to lift at least 50lbs. by yourself -Must be able to work overtime when neededJob Type: Full-timePay: $20 Plus depending on experience per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:press brake: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
