Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Hybrid (must be within commutable distance from Charlotte, NC)

They specialize in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge products that enable seamless and reliable communication solutions. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer with experience and expertise in Altium to join the team and contribute to the development of next-generation printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who can bring a wealth of knowledge and practical skills to the table. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of high-performance PCBs that meet the requirements of customers around the world.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Altium Designer to create and modify PCB layouts for products in the communications industry.
• Develop clear and accurate schematics to guide the PCB layout process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to choose appropriate components based on performance, cost, and availability.
• Perform advanced signal integrity analysis to ensure the reliability and performance of the designed circuits.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of PCB prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Work closely with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of PCBs into the overall product design.
• Create comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in PCB design, Altium updates, and industry trends to incorporate best practices into the design process.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in PCB design using Altium Designer.
• Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to PCB design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• bility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience in the communications industry is a plus.
