Salary Range: $105,000 – 130,000
Requirements:
- Extensive experience leading/contributing to the design, development, and administration of Salesforce platform projects from end to end, including identifying and using OOTB marketplace plugins rather than developing code.
- Experience identifying marketplace plugins and/or designing/developing custom connectors as needed.
- Experience designing, implementing, and integrating Salesforce with federal systems (on-premises, cloud), and delivering Salesforce solutions that comply with all federal standards such as security and section 508.
- A master’s degree with five (5) plus years of hands-on full stack experience as team lead supporting architects, leading teams, and developing solutions using agile/SAFe methodologies, preferably in federal space.
- A combination of Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Architect, and Salesforce Consultant certifications, or equivalent experience. Must have Agile/SAFe and other related developer certifications or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Take a lead role in architectural design discussions, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Drive best practices in coding standards, software design principles, and development methodologies within the team.
- Complex Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges by designing and implementing innovative software solutions. Analyze requirements, propose technical approaches, and develop robust, scalable code that meets project objectives.
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and performance optimization. Collaborate with team members to identify and address technical debt, code smells, and potential security vulnerabilities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers to understand requirements, refine user stories, and deliver high-quality software products. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback.
- Technical Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document technical designs, APIs, and implementation details to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain institutional knowledge. Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, such as wikis and code libraries, to support ongoing learning and development within the organization.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in software development. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation to enhance team productivity and product quality.
The Location: This position can be done remotely! Additionally, we have an office at Reston Town Center, 11900 Market St, Reston, VA 20190, that employees can use.
