What you'll be a part of:

Projects you might conquer:

1. Real-Time AI Phone Calls: Build a low-latency audio streaming backend for a seamless human-AI phone call experience.
2. AI Gets Vision: Develop a large-scale video ingestion and storage infrastructure to empower our AI with sight.
3. Generative Video on Demand: Create a platform for live-streaming generative video.
4. Scalable Streaming Infrastructure: Manage, scale, and automate large deployments of streaming infrastructure with high availability.

Are you the one? (Required Skills)

1. 2+ years of experience with audio and video streaming technologies (WebRTC, media servers, etc.).
2. 5+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems for a fast-growing consumer application.
3. Highly performant services expertise: You excel at writing efficient services with a strong grasp of Golang and/or Python.
4. Microservices master: Design, implement, and maintain individual microservices that combine to form complex, scalable backend systems.
5. Containerization and Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes are your friends.
6. Database Guru: Extensive experience with various database technologies, both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). Bonus points for proficiency in database design, sharding, replication, and high-traffic optimization.
7. Caching champion: Familiar with caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) to enhance application performance.
8. Problem-solving powerhouse: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are key for identifying and addressing bottlenecks and ensuring backend systems perform optimally.
9. Collaborative spirit: Proven ability to work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to bring new features to life.
10. Communication is key: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse teams and stakeholders.
11. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
