Software Engineer

About the Company:

As a Sr. Software Engineer you will develop software tools and test script for the issue debug and manufacturing efficiency improvement and lead team to solve the engineering issue in manufacturing.

About the Role:

Lead engineers to identify the issues in manufacturing, read the test program and output logs to triage and hunt for the possible engineering root cause. Co-work with the R&D team and test engineering (TE) team and work out a solution to enhance the process of manufacturing. Develop the software tools to improve manufacturing efficiency. Develop the Linux test script to support issue debug. Set up the networking environment such as PXE boot.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineers to identify the issues in manufacturing
• Read the test program and output logs to triage and hunt for the possible engineering root cause

• Develop the software tools to improve manufacturing efficiency
• Develop the Linux test script to support issue debug

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT or any other related field, with a minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in the Computer hardware architecture, including the System Bus, PCI-e, USB. Experience in Server Management Protocol (Redfish, IPMI).
• Experience in PC industry components. Knowledge of how BIOS works, what the interface BIOS can provide to OS, etc.

Required Skills:

• Experience in script language, including Python
• Experience in Network Concepts, including PXE, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
