Engineering Manager – Richards Industrials

The Position:

Richards is seeking an experienced, motivated Engineering Manager for the Core Richards business in Cincinnati, overseeing multiple product lines.

The Engineering Manager will report to the Vice President of Manufacturing and have a dotted line to the Vice President of Product Management.

Responsibilities:

• New Product Development
• Improvement Engineering Activities
• Engineering Design Control
• Configurator Development & Upkeep
• Regulator & Control Valve Sizing Tools
• Value Analysis / Value Engineering
• Product Support Activities
• Engagement with Industry Associations
• Management of the Engineering Lab & Capabilities
• Management of the Intellectual Property Portfolio

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
• 10-12 years of valve manufacturing experience
• 5-8 years of People Leadership experience
• Technology and product roadmap development
• Experience with new product launches
• Multi-site Engineering Leadership experience
• Collaboration with stakeholders
• Capital Expense Requests
• Intellectual Property management
• Regulation and control experience a plus
• Knowledge of industrial codes and standards
• Proficiency in FMEA, CAD, and systems engineering
