Industrial Engineer

Main Sail is seeking Industrial Engineers to support a security agency in delivering optimization and enhancements to their current campus footprint
and individual work center layouts. This role involves developing, integrating, and enhancing work center layouts, focusing on efficiency and
productivity, while maintaining a strict security envelop. This is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge solutions in a high-security,
low volume, high variability, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and develop process maps and record process data for multiple complex and variable product lines.
- Present data in a professional, clear, and concise package with the compatibility for future integration into computational models.
- Coordinate and participate with a knowledgeable and functional team to drive solutions and answers to provided tasking from contract.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience optimization of manufacturing space, with proficiency in CAD/CAM programming.
- Proven experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Visual Basic).
- Strong understanding of process mapping in relation to manufacturing and maintenance processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices in order to transition deliverable product into a digital model.
Location - Columbia, MD. Mix of Local and Remote work.
Period of Performance: Estimated Start 10/31/2024, 5 Month Period, with opportunity for multi-year extension.
