Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our client's growing infrastructure team, focusing on network security and cutting-edge technologies like Palo Alto, Fortinet, IDS, and IPS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure with a focus on security, performance, and scalability.
• Manage and configure Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and manage Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) to safeguard against external and internal threats.
• Proactively identify vulnerabilities and implement solutions to protect critical financial data and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related issues and improve network performance.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, ensuring the network infrastructure meets financial industry regulations and best practices.
• Lead network troubleshooting efforts, resolving high-level technical issues with minimal downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with IPS/IDS technologies and network monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security architectures.
• Familiarity with financial industry compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX, GDPR).
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and mitigate network threats.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., PCNSE, NSE, CCNA/CCNP Security).
