The team supports the development of tools and services that increase the efficiency of software development and sustainment efforts across large Linux computing environments. The Software Integration Engineer III must have effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, end-users, and stakeholders.Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance.Position Required Qualifications:Experience using the Linux CLI to perform basic file system operations and package managementExperience writing Bash/Python/Groovy scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflowsExperience using the Atlassian plugin software developer kit (SDK), to create and extend Atlassian applications such as Jira, Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, and BambooExperience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changesExperience with monitoring and log management tools to track system and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify potential problems in a Linux environment.Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStackExperience with interacting and training external customersBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment OR the individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience OR an industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TTOs, may substitute as one (1) year experience.
