Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer with expertise in operating systems and server hardware to support a highly demanding mission for over twenty DoD agencies. This role involves responsibilities related to data analysis, infrastructure design, systems performance optimization, and migration planning. Candidates with a strong technical background and active Secret security clearance are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Lead initial discovery efforts and define data collection requirements for migration planning
• Design and deploy enterprise-class storage and data protection technologies
• Optimize system performance and migration workflows
• Develop migration plans for complex n-tier applications and services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in a relevant field
• Expertise with enterprise-class storage and data protection technologies
• Active DoD IAT Level II (Security+) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consulting firms
• Knowledge of networking, servers, cyber, and data center facilities
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration and Microsoft Azure technologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory administration, and Power BI
