Lead DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in GitHub DevOps tools, DevOps concepts, DevSecOps, and Azure DevOps. Additionally, experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management is mandatory. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can work effectively in a day shift without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure DevOps solutions using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
2. Oversee the integration of DevSecOps practices to ensure security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices for using DevOps tools and concepts.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes.
5. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code scripts to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
6. Ensure the reliability and performance of applications by implementing monitoring and logging solutions.
7. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of DevOps practices.
9. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
10. Provide support and troubleshooting for complex technical issues related to DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

1. Possess a deep understanding of GitHub DevOps tools and DevOps concepts.
2. Demonstrate expertise in DevSecOps practices and their implementation.
3. Have extensive experience with Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure management.
4. Show proficiency in scripting languages for automation such as Python or PowerShell.
5. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
6. Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Have a solid background in Pharmacy Benefit Management and its specific requirements.
8. Be capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
9. Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry advancements.
10. Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
11. Have experience in conducting security assessments and audits.
12. Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
