The Electrical Diagnostics Technician will disassemble, reassemble, troubleshoot, and maintain vehicle platforms on-site. This role involves communicating between employees, engineering, customers, and requesters. This Full Time Electrical Diagnostics Technician position offers AM Day shifts plus possible Overtime. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Electrical Diagnostics Technician position below are strongly encouraged to apply. Day shifts + possible Overtime available.Shift Schedule:*AM Day shift: * 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (Monday - Sunday)Must be able to work 7 days a week, 12-hour shiftsResponsibilities:Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair vehicle equipment and systems to component level failures experienced during operationPerform equipment updates to support testing of vehicle systemsCommunicate diagnostic findings to engineering staff for resolutionPerform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) according to project expectations and vehicle Technical Manuals (TMs) or work instructionsReceive direction from coordinators, customers, and supervisorsAttend daily meetings with team to brief on activities and program or project expectationsPerform pre-drive and post-drive vehicle inspectionsClean up and disposal including daily clean-up of assigned work areas and vehiclesManage time entry including verifying accuracyRetirees and veterans are welcomeRequirements:High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing vehicle systemsMinimum of 2 years of diagnosing to component level and repairing newly integrated vehicle systemsProficiency in the use of maintenance tools, repair and special tools, diagnostic equipmentProficiency in working from Technical Manuals (TM's), wiring schematics, work instructions, work orders and follow-up of historic troubleshooter findings and notesGood computer skills, including MS OfficeAbility to prepare written technical reportsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and able to interact professionally with othersValid driver's license and clean driving recordPreferred Skills:Certification in Automotive Engineering Technology or similarNational Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) CertificationKnowledge of GM Diagnostic ToolsBenefits:Unlimited Overtime When AvailableNo Certification RequiredVeteran Friendly EmployerWe offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance after your 60 days with Performance Driven WorkforceWork with Latest Automotive Technology* Performance Driven Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer *Easy Application Process!
