Job Requirements / Description
Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Execute electrical wiring plans for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.)
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components.
Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
Prevent system breakdown by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
Five years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residential.
Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and making repairs promptly.
Proficient in installing electrical panel systems, conduit, wiring, and fixtures.
Proficient in working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
License/Certification
Preferred:
Journeyman Electrician License (preferred).
Valid Driver’s License.

Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems.

Must be able to move or lift more than 75 lbs.
Travel may be required per project, which needs 20-30%.
Occasionally extended hours and overtime may be required to meet workload demands.
Proficiency in operating aerial lift equipment is required.
