I. Position Description
The Solutions Process Engineer will assist to organize, manage, and plan complex lithium recycling projects for the organizations research, development, and plant implementation efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Capturing and sharing best operational practices and carry out internal and external benchmarking to enhance business optimization processes.
  • Ensuring operational readiness by reviewing current projects that are aligned with a standard process improvement framework and methodology.
  • Facilitate alignment of roles and responsibilities within the stakeholders to ensure effective operational ramp-up.
  • Define and agree on KPI's and ensure alignment with the stated production and goals in the Business Case.
  • Provide a baseline standard for work to be performed directly and a detailed schedule of all activities directly related to stand operation of production to ensure operational readiness.
  • Developing the basic Operational Standards to be executed at all facilities.
  • Breakdown Structure classifying required business processes, people / skills requirements, and technological support, ensuring that operational readiness activities are completed on time.
  • Conduct an analysis and interpret the root cause of any variances and distribute a consolidated report to the key role players to ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Establish and develop an effective communication plan between key stakeholders to ensure efficient change management as and when required.
  • Distribute and communicate the detailed Operational Breakdown Structure to ensure that agreement is reached prior to commencement of production.
  • High level of work ethics is maintained, ensuring that workers continuously strive towards improving their own performance.
  • Manage a safe and healthy work environment where workers and contractors can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment.
  • Ensure environmental impact falls within and complies with statutory requirements.
  • Leads all assigned project work demonstrating Ecobat values of Sustainability & Stewardship, Candor & Transparency, Accountability & Trust, Speed & Excellence.
  • Maintain clear communication pathway between R&D lab, project execution team and operation.
  • Engage and communicate with process operators to ensure a smooth start up and operation.
  • Uses disciplined project management and planning methodology to deliver on project outcomes and realize results.
  • Assist in creating outline tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Communicates and collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems.
  • Ensures compliance with global, country, federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, meet deadlines and manage to schedule.
  • Facilitate team member meeting agendas, minutes, and cadence for closing open issues and concerns.
  • Facilitate the training and process training to site operators and managers.
II. Qualifications
  • Track record for current project/operational status, create baseline standards for operations,
  • Technical Process Optimization experience to assist in the implementation of new technology and processes.
  • Experience of project management with learnings or certifications toward Project+, AGILE, PMP or Prince2 methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large sized projects
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and program plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
  • Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment
  • Knowledge creation of standard
  • Knowledge of electrical sensors, instrument and control and systems integration
  • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS project
  • Ability to escalate decisions appropriately
  • Entry level learnings in Project Management concepts
  • Minimum 3-5 years of successfully managing business projects across a cross-functional team.
