Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Write, develop, validate, and debug CNC programs and provide supporting documentation for 3-5 axis CNC mills
  • Generate, maintain, and evaluate procedures for production and development
  • Utilize adaptive programming techniques to support the manufacturing ease
  • Implement programming best practices to support common systems and platforms
  • Implement, support, and provide continuous improvement of lean and agile material removal through effective programming and up-to-date tooling specifications.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and operators to meet customer and shop floor needs
  • Troubleshoot production activities with variation and out of control parameters
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
  • Interface with engineering, quality and manufacturing to determine root cause for process and part issues
  • Support and advise on new process development
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements resulting in cost reduction, quality improvement, and increased efficiency
  • Perform day-to-day monitoring of production processes as required
  • Complete projects in a timely manner with accuracy using sound scientific methodology, with attention to detail and good judgement
  • Effectively communicate and work with manufacturing, quality, and engineering
  • Provide input and analysis for procedural changes to include work instructions and manuals
