Electrical Engineer II
COGS has partnered with, multi billion dollar revenue chemical manufacturing company who are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team. Due to increased market demand, they are in growth mode and expanding which has led to a demand for a talented Electrical Engineer.
The salary for this role is up to 110K based hybrid in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:

• Developing, coding, and testing software for printing systems
• Attending meetings to discuss project goals and priorities
• Engaging in design reviews for both electronics and software systems
• Enhancing, updating, and expanding the codebase to increase reusability and address bugs
• Designing electronics hardware for various applications (on a less frequent basis)
• Creating firmware to operate in-house designed electronics hardware
• Crafting and testing FPGA programs to manage printheads within printing systems
• Aiding in the transition of electronics and software to the manufacturing division for production
• Composing user documentation to support the operation of software and printing systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Extensive software development background required.
