Job Responsibilities:
- Actively seek continuous improvement and automation opportunities within the testing process.
- Identify, recommend, and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the discipline within the Banking and Financial domain.
- Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Collaboratively engage with relevant stakeholders at all levels to shift from finding defects to proactively preventing defects.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.
- Monitor service, productivity, and assess efficiency levels within own function and implement continuous process/performance improvements.
- Serve as a partner and provide ongoing support to the enterprise and/or business, aligning to Testing Methodology and QE best practices.
- Analyze the end-to-end solution requirements to recommend pragmatic and sound test-specific solutions; may analyze, develop, debug, and maintain test suites.
- Implement effective test strategies and provide guidance to delivery teams in using tools and setting up environments that support ongoing quality and traceability.
- Support the team in test activities across the testing lifecycle, focusing on value-driven outcomes.
- Keep others informed about the status and progress of projects, and all relevant information related to day-to-day activities.
- Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities.
- Contribute to a fair, positive, and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce.
- Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank.
- Work collaboratively with the team and leadership to proactively identify and resolve issues related to product quality.
Skills and Experience Required:
Required:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering, including leading experience.
- BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
- Good communication skills to engage meaningfully with stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in testing planning, design, automation, and execution.
- Advanced debugging skills to solve complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables.
- Strong knowledge of new and advanced techniques in testing and automation.
- Ability to drive work efforts related to complex applications/systems/projects.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage complex application/solution issues as needed.
- Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities.
- Future-focused, foreseeing issues and identifying industry trends.
Required Domain Knowledge:
- Banking and Financial domain knowledge is mandatory.
- Must have domain knowledge in Wire Payments-Fed Processing and SWIFT.
- Thorough understanding of wires end-to-end testing, FRAUD/OFAC, SOD/EOD processing, Sanctions, Accounting, Reporting, Reconciliation, and Settlement.
- Hands-on testing/Operations experience in Wire Payments processing.
- Understanding ISO20022 migration journey and impacts on Swift and Fed Wires Instructions.

- ACI MTS experience.
