Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Akron, OH area. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Base salary is estimated at $90-155K, dependent on relevant experience with piping flexibility studies, process equipment specifications, pumps, material handling pressure vessels, etc.
Job Description:

• Engineering/specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipment
• Pipe stress analysis/pipe support design
• Lead Engineer for projects
• Interfaces with other engineering disciplines and clients
• Performs field work as needed

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree
• Piping flexibility studies, process equipment specifications (pumps, material handling pressure vessels); familiarity with Caesar II software
• A minimum 8 years’ experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
• Authorizes a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background
• Submits to a drug test post offer
• Possesses a valid driver’s license
• Accepts that this position may require some domestic overnight travel
