Inclusively is partnering with a Technology Services Provider to hire a Consulting Systems Engineer (Data Center) - Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

1. Aligns with the company Sales team to represent the company's Networking and Data Center (Hyper-Converged, Storage, Servers, Compute, Virtualization, Backups, Fabric, etc.) expertise to all assigned accounts.
2. Uses knowledge of technology, products and services to build Data Center solutions (and solution options) for the customer.
3. Works with clients and the company Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into the company Networking and Data Center opportunities.
4. Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables within the domain of the opportunity which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposals.
5. Manages and achieves a sales gross profit number.
6. Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key data center partners who are local to your region and/or territory.
7. Assists in Statement of Work and Proof of Concept review and development.
8. Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer.
9. Candidates must live in the Chicago, IL market.
10. 8+ years of technical enterprise and 2+ years of Pre-Sales experience.
11. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
12. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
13. Excellent presentation skills and technical sales skills.
14. Must have passion driving networking/storage/server/virtualization solution strategies.
15. Strong personality with leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization.
16. Strong presence and credibility to be proven at client site and internally.
17. Knowledge of the technical aspects of networking, storage, server, backup and virtualization hardware, software and architecture(s).
18. Cisco, Dell/EMC, NetApp, HP TSG and/or VMware certifications highly desired.
