Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage field technicians so projects are operated safely, profitably, and to the complete satisfaction of our clients.
  • Maintain team compliance with safety rules, guidelines, and planning for all projects.
  • Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
  • Monitor project schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Regulate cost control, staffing, project invoicing, and report review.
  • Execute work on time, within budget, in accordance with project requirements, and within company policies, procedures and standards.
  • Manage clients and develop business for the department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or construction engineering.
  • Registration as a professional engineer (PE) in AL or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Five-plus years of construction management preferred, but not required.
  • Five-plus years of personnel management preferred, but not required.
  • Effective communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills.
  • Good driving record and strong awareness of personal safety.
