Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage field technicians so projects are operated safely, profitably, and to the complete satisfaction of our clients.
- Maintain team compliance with safety rules, guidelines, and planning for all projects.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
- Monitor project schedules and meet deadlines.
- Regulate cost control, staffing, project invoicing, and report review.
- Execute work on time, within budget, in accordance with project requirements, and within company policies, procedures and standards.
- Manage clients and develop business for the department.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or construction engineering.
- Registration as a professional engineer (PE) in AL or ability to obtain within six months.
- Five-plus years of construction management preferred, but not required.
- Five-plus years of personnel management preferred, but not required.
- Effective communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills.
- Good driving record and strong awareness of personal safety.
