System/Cloud Engineer (Only on W2)

Job Title: System/Cloud Engineer

Duration: 12 Months of Contract

Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ (must be able to work onsite 3 days/week currently but not permanently hybrid)

Responsibilities

1. Migrate multi-tiered workloads from on-prem to company cloud
2. Implement new workload/service using the company's private cloud
3. Support requirements gathering for migration/implementation
4. Test and implement cloud-based services to support ongoing cloud migration
5. Develop and maintain secure and reliable cloud infrastructure (backup, monitoring, and secure logging)
6. Provide support for security policies and procedures
7. Develop and maintain technical documentation
8. Troubleshoot technical issues

Requirements/Qualifications

1. At least 5 years of experience in the field of cloud computing
2. Experience with onsite to cloud migration assessment and implementation
3. Worked and hands-on experience in cloud migration and a multi-cloud environment
4. Worked on data/DB migration
5. Knowledge of cloud computing technology (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
6. Experience with networking, compute infrastructure such as servers, database, firewall, load balance
7. Knowledge of system monitoring, capacity planning and understand architecture principles across infrastructure platform
8. Hands-on experience with administrator on variety of Linux/Windows systems
9. Hands-on experience with cluster configuration (Windows, Linux)
10. Must have OS/DB level trouble-shooting skill
11. Experience with information security practices and procedures
12. Documentation skills using MS Office products.
13. Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time to meet client needs
