Vehicle Body Design Engineer

Who we’re looking for

ESV’s (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Body Electronics. The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Body Electronics.

What you’ll be doing

• Vehicle application of Body Electronics (Body ECU, AC ECU, etc.)
• Plan structure and design of Body Electronics through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality
• Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications

What you bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
• 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer
• Must be able to work up to 30% Overtime

What you may bring

• Experience in vehicle electronics development
• Experience in CATIA
