Desktop Support Engineer

We're working with a client of ours in North Carolina to find a Desktop Support Engineer with a focus on M365.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the M365 platform.
• Provide support for email-related problems.
• Enhance and upgrade services within the M365 environment, focusing on areas like SharePoint Online performance and implementing advanced security features.
• Utilize PowerShell for task automation, including bulk user management, mailbox setup, and M365 usage and security reporting.
• Collaborate on security tasks within the M365 Security Center, including identifying suspicious activities, responding to security alerts, and enforcing data loss prevention (DLP) measures.
• Oversee user identity management through EntraID, handling tasks like role assignments, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies.
• Manage intricate user permissions across SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 applications, addressing complex access control and group permissions issues.

Qualifications:

• Preferred certification in M365 Modern Workplace.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in related roles.
