The Role:Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:Directing, prioritizing and scheduling activities of the team to achieve plant anddepartment performance objectives for safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.Directing the development, validation, documentation, control of all: injectionmolding processes, molding automation systems, paint processes, robot programs,paint automation systems and assembly processes.Leading Root Cause problem solving and Continuous Improvement activitiescollaborating with the plant Lean Manufacturing team on eliminating waste andimplementing lean tools and practices.Directing tool and equipment preventive maintenance and repairs.Ensuring compliance with all OSHA and other regulatory, safety and environmentalstandards and procedures.Administrating and tracking cost reduction efforts.The Requirements:Bachelor´s Degree with a minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.Solid experience in engineering department with plastic molding, paint andassembly processes in the automotive industry.Advanced English ismandatory.
