The selected candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be capable of interpreting network and system diagrams, eliciting design details from system owners, and modeling SysML. Candidate will also utilize MBSE for development of system architectures, concept of operations, and architecture to requirements traceability.This role is NOT eligible for remote or hybrid work and is executed on-site.What you must have9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.Must have experience as a Model Based System EngineerMust have Open Management Group SysML certificationMust be proficient in creating SysML models w/ Cameo Systems Modeler or similar modeling toolMust have working knowledge of cloud architecturesMust be proficient in creating reports & presentations with Microsoft Office 365 products & SysML diagrams.Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and network schematics to design accurate system models with minimal helpMust be a US citizen, currently hold a Secret Security Clearance.Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret and relevant SAP/SAR ClearanceWhat you will doPerforms technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Communicate and document system requirements, design, architecture, and performance using model-based reports, diagrams, charts, and presentations.Collaborate with engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and managers across different disciplines and domains to ensure the system meets the desired objectives and specifications.Support the system development, integration, operation, and maintenance phases using MBSE best practices and standards.Manage and maintain the consistency, integrity, and traceability of system models and related artifacts throughout the system life cycle.Preferred RequirementsActive or current DoD Top Secret ClearanceMust have experience w/ modeling network architectures.Experience with modeling cloud-based systems.DoD 8570.01 Level II certificationDoD Air Force Experience preferred.Physical RequirementsMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
