In this role as a Core Systems Lead Engineer, you will act as the spearhead to set principles, practices, and standards to implement systems that are the heart of business. You will be involved in all aspects of specification review, prioritization, delivery, and day 2 operations for new systems that are often replacing functionality and systems that have been in place for decades.
We are looking for industry veterans who know what it takes to satisfy demanding business strategic objects and build systems that satisfy legal, compliance, business, and customer needs. If you are up for a challenge, we have a place for you.
Specific Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years working as an architect in an industry-leading banking, payments, or capital markets firm OR has been in a key technical architecture role in a demonstrably successful fintech product company.
- Successful design and implementation of emerging technology to solve a key financial industry business or critical system architecture problem.
What you'll Need:
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience managing the packaging, deployment, configuration, and observability of modern applications.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience designing and building software pipelines.
- Minimum 1+ years working with modern observability tools.
- Experience leading engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
Bonus if you have:
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Experience with microservices architectures and constituent technologies.
