Senior Platform Developer

We are looking for a communicative project lead on a cross-functional team that can efficiently execute the development of web applications. All projects will utilize an Agile/Scrum model for the software development lifecycle (SDLC). In this position, you will be involved with the design, development, analysis, testing and debugging of web applications built on the SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow and/or Salesforce platforms. You will demonstrate a strong ability to design and build user interfaces that are intuitive and modern.
Primary Responsibilities
- Test and peer-review proposed software implementations
- Perform Release Management responsibilities
- Perform regular Backlog Grooming sessions with Product/Process Owners
- Lead regular Sprint Planning sessions
- Knowledge of security standards and controls
- Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems/subsystems
- Motivated individual with a positive attitude and an ability to complete a technical project independently as well as mentor and coach other engineers.
- Communicate clearly (written and oral) with program management, engineering and the customer as required
- Document component and subsystem specifications and material requirements
- Interact with technical management, other professionals, engineers, and support personnel to coordinate, recommend, and confer regarding technical activities and progress
- Secret clearance, or willingness to obtain secret clearance
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- 5, or more, years of experience with JS Frameworks like React and Angular
- 5, or more, years of experience with CSS and CSS Frameworks
- 3, or more, years of development and configuration of one or more ITSM, CSM or CRM SaaS platforms
- Fluency in modern technologies, design and SDLC
Desired Experience (with One Or More)
- Exposure and understanding of Network Management System, such as ScienceLogic SL1
- Experience with Cloud Computing
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in the Satcom industry
- Experience working on Federal Government and DoD contracts
- Experience with Service Desk software systems
