VIE stands for Volunteering for International Experience. This program allows professionals who are citizens of the European Economic Area and between 18 and 28 years old to work abroad on an international assignment of 6-24 months under the authority of Business France and the French Ministry of Foreign Trade.

THE OPPORTUNITY
CONTEXT:
This is a challenging opportunity, being a member of our R&D Team, working on modules of an industry-leading large enterprise software platform, building future-proof applications. Our R&D team works to build a robust, future-proof enterprise software platform for our industry-leading solution.
ROLE:
Ivalua is looking for a Software Engineering VIE to develop and enhance IVA, Ivalua’s generative AI chatbot, and DAP, Ivalua’s Digital Adoption Platform. You will build and maintain the product features, contributing throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
- Primary focus will be building and maintaining product features for IVA (Ivalua’s chatbot powered by Generative AI) and DAP (Ivalua’s in-house Digital Adoption Platform solution)
- Develop and enhance the Ivalua Buyer product using the Ivalua Buyer framework
- Write good clean code focusing on performance optimizations, scalable solutions, and good software design principles
- Participate in code and design reviews
YOUR PROFILE
If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:
Skills and Experience:
- Computer Science degree or similar required
- Experience with C#, SQL, and JavaScript or TypeScript required
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with web-based enterprise software development & ASP.NET preferred
- Knowledge of any front-end framework/libraries such as jQuery, React is a plus
- Knowledge of any unit testing framework such as MS Test is a plus

Title: Software Engineering VIE
Range minimum: $30 per hour
Range maximum: $45 per hour
Additional compensation / rewards: Ivalua offers an annual target bonus for this position conditional on individual and company performance. Other compensation factors may also be considered.
