Responsibilities
BreakingNews.com is looking for an experienced full-stack engineer with particular expertise in Python, Django, and JavaScript. A successful candidate will have strong design senses and development principles, and have a desire to make new and unique tools, products, and user experiences.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3-5 years development experience
- Python and Django development
- JavaScript, Node.js, jQuery, Backbone, Underscore, event handling
- HTML, CSS
- Building and using RESTful APIs
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Desired Characteristics
- Rapid prototyping of designs and features
- History of high quality production web apps
- Knowledge of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
