Job Description

Job Description:

1. Note: Candidate needs to be strong on Core Java; hands-on experience is a must.
2. 7+ years experience as a technical analyst in the financial industry.
3. Functional understanding of retail banking and/or investment domains.
4. Ability to write technical user stories for a SOA/services/messaging development team.
5. Ability to read Java code to understand existing system behavior.
6. Experience running web services using tools like Soap UI, XML Spy, CA-LISA.
7. Experience testing web services to see if they meet acceptance criteria defined by user stories.
8. Experience working with XML and JSON message formats.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
11. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
12. Strong experience with Agile development methodologies.
13. Strong SQL skills to analyze existing data and identify gaps/data quality issues.
14. Experience writing technical stories in JIRA/Confluence using industry standard notations.
15. Experience working in large, complex data environments.
16. Experience working on large and medium scale software projects.
17. Experience working with diversified multi-location teams.
18. Good to have experience with prior experience working in a shared services/enterprise level organization.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
2. At least 7 years of experience within Information Technologies.
