RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will develop and implement regional renewable energy programs, providing policy, budgeting and technical guidance, coordinating energy audits and studies.
  • You will assist in the coordination of special project planning, programming, execution, long range planning and broad strategy initiative in support of the regional energy program.
  • You will provide guidance to engineers and technicians associated with energy project development and implementation of energy initiatives.
  • You will develop business case analysis, economic analysis and energy consumption analysis as it relates to energy consumption, utility cost and total ownership costs of proposed projects and energy initiatives.
  • Possesses knowledge and experience with construction and Architect/Engineer contracts and the management of large and technically complex project portfolios;
  • Being oversight in both pre and post award phases of projects from cradle to grave life cycle
  • Having participated in or led a multi-functional team to develop standard practices or resolve problems;
  • Provides leadership and supervisory experience with multiple large and geographically dispersed projects; 5) Uses teambuilding and collaborating to achieve positive outcomes among multiple staffs and supported commands ;
  • Use of information management systems to inform decision making process;
  • Having experience communicating with and advising senior staff at the O6/GS15 level and above, including Flag/SES level leaders

QUALIFICATIONS:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Developing and implementing regional renewable energy programs, providing policy, budgeting and technical guidance, coordinating energy audits and studies;
  • Assisting in the coordination of special project planning, programming, execution, long range planning and broad strategy initiative in support of the regional energy program;
