Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in software design and development to work in a team that will implement next-generation products and features for satellite communication. This engineer will work with an outstanding team of engineers with the goal of delivering a premier IP-based satellite communication product, making it possible to deliver voice, video, and data connectivity anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-performance C++ applications for cloud-native environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture.
- Write clean, well-structured, and efficient C++ code.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain robust unit, component, and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest C++ standards and cloud-native technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
Essential Skills
- Strong proficiency in C++ programming language (8+ years of experience), including modern C++ 14/17/20 features.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience in designing and developing microservices-based applications on Kubernetes (5+ years of experience) and knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing tools for these applications.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies (5+ years of experience) such as Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes API and objects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Linux.
- Experience with microservices, AWS, Azure, and cloud integration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
- Knowledge of cloud migration, implementation documentation, and Java.
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule.
