Software Engineering Intern

Copart is looking to recruit a Software Engineer Intern who will be responsible to:

1. Collaborate with other senior engineers and management to achieve optimal application architecture and design.
2. Develop efficient, secure applications, peer-review code, and document solutions within an agile-blended software environment.
3. Communicate proactively with teammates, infrastructure, security, and quality assurance to continuously improve processes and engineering excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
2. 1 to 3 years of professional software development experience with Java-based applications.
3. Experience with Spring Boot, ibatis / hibernate, and messaging systems.
4. Experience with Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
5. Experience with Agile Methodologies and tools.
6. Understanding of architecture and development methodologies of n-tier systems.
7. Self-motivated, naturally curious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.
8. Able to understand and communicate not just how certain technologies work, but why.

Additional Skills (nice to have):

1. Experience with application server platforms: Apache, Tomcat.
