More Driven.About the Position:This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing process and product quality by learning and applying appropriate Goodyear standards and procedures to solve problems. The incumbent understands and can apply standard tools to improve customer satisfaction and process capability.Responsibilities:Utilize and apply understanding of suppliers and Customer requirements (internal and external) relevant to specific manufacturing processesProtect relationships with Customers and drive improvements in Customer satisfaction; appropriately representing GoodyearImprove and enhance known technical solutions to meet product and process requirementsLead improvements and develop processes within relevant quality guidelines and standards using appropriate quality engineering toolsTrack and report process performance indicatorsParticipate in Plant Optimization to deploy standards and to drive improvement.Recognize and identify problems, achieve solutions with appropriate tools and methods that deliver defined objectives which meet business needsParticipate, influence , communicate and collaborate effectively within various teams to meet individual and business performance objectivesComplete assigned tasks on time and with appropriate quality to deliver resultsSupport the implementation of new products / processes / technologies, utilizing applicable Quality engineering toolsResponsible for the creation and maintenance of Product and Process technical specifications to insure compliance with requirementsAudit for compliance and drive effective root-cause analysis and corrective action implementationWork Schedule: Monday - Friday on 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)Education:Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years of relevant experience requiredExperience:2+ years of experience with degree, or 7+ years equivalent experience without a degree.Demonstrated ability to apply systematic problem solving tools and techniquesDemonstrated ability to understand and troubleshoot equipment and process problemsDemonstrated ability to contribute toward team goalsSkills and Abilities:Demonstrate a positive attitude.Actively participate in meetings, in a supporing role.Initiate open dialogue with peers and leadership on areas of concern.Select best means of communication.Provide compelling technical direction and logical conclusions within the function, both written and oral.Complete work on time with appropriate quality.Take responsibility for own performance and results.Plan daily work to ensure effective performance.Actively participate in change and organizational awareness.Participate in mentoring as mentee.#LI-MW1Goodyear is one of the world’s largest tire companies.
