Job Overview:
Waste Water Design Engineer
- Experience with water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including: treatment plants, storage tanks, pumping stations, distribution systems, and collection systems.
- Proven ability and proficiency with interpreting and preparing engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for conveying information to regulators, contractors, clients, and the public.
- Ability to work self-motivated and under light supervision in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Will join a team of engineers on a variety of exciting and dynamic municipal water and sewer projects.
Requirements:
- Must have storm environmental or water and sewer engineering background
- Water/Wastewater Design Engineer (5-7) years of experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) advancing toward PE licensures.
- 5+ years minimum relative field experience in storm water management
- Must have EIT certification
- Strong knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration
